Chief Executive Officer

Derek Morkel serves as chief executive officer of HealthTech Solutions Group and HealthTech Management Services. With more than 20 years of experience in both health care and technology industries, Morkel leads the overall strategic direction of the companies and oversees operations, growth strategy and financial performance. Previously, Morkel served as senior vice president at MedCath Corporation based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Morkel earned a bachelor's degree from Stellenbosch University in Stellenbosch, South Africa and a master's degree in health care administration from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.

Michael JennesseMichael Jennesse, CPA, CFO
Chief Financial Officer

Michael Jennesse manages finances and oversees corporate accounting practices for HealthTech Solutions Group and HealthTech Management Services. Jennesse has over 25 years of experience in health care management, including extensive experience in business intelligence and technology to drive operating improvements. Previously, he served as a financial executive at IASIS Healthcare, HCA and Universal Health. Jennesse holds a master's degree in business administration and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Chief Technology Officer

Robert Reinhardt provides strategic direction in the development of new technology at HealthTech Solutions Group and HealthTech Management Services. Reinhardt has more than 15 years experience in delivering business intelligence solutions to health care organizations. Prior to joining HealthTech, Reinhardt was vice president of business intelligence at IASIS Healthcare based in Franklin, Tennessee. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Texas in El Paso.

Brenda PhillipsBrenda Phillips, JD
General Counsel

Brenda Phillips serves as General Counsel of HealthTech Solutions Group and HealthTech Management Services. Prior to joining the companies, Phillips served as an attorney at Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC in the firm's health care practice area. During her tenure, she represented health care companies in mergers, compliance with Anti-Kickback and Stark laws and regulations, and the negotiation of physician contracts and various operational agreements. Phillips earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Memphis State University and a juris doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Legal Writing Institute. Phillips is licensed to practice by the State of Tennessee.
